Following our recent grants and donations the first of our new medical equipment from Viamed has arrived for our Shropshire responders.
Vital monitoring equipment essential when using advance pain relief, sedation and anaesthetics by our responders pre-hospitaly has arrived. Thanks to recent donations and grants we have been able to purchase and equip all our Shropshire responders with End Tidal CO2 and Pulse oximetry monitors. These devices allow our clinicians to monitor the breathing rate, oxygen saturations and other important gases of our patients when using advance drugs.
These monitors have been supplied by VIAMED a company who have supported CSIbasics from the start and we look forward to working closely with them in the future as we aim to equip all our responders with theses devices. At over 3k each fully equipped we still require help in raising funds to do this, you can find out how here.
