Shrewsbury Carnival

CSI BASICS held a stall at this years annual charity carnival in the Quarry Park, Shrewsbury.

People had a chance to find out about our work, buy raffle tickets and witness a joint Demonstration with the fire and rescue service.  During the demonstration one of our doctors Dad fulfilled the role of a casualty and was cut free from a car kindly donated by Corner Cars, Market Drayton.  The demonstration was a valuable training excersise, and showed the public what is often happening at the end of a large traffic jam when an accident has occurred.

We also took part in the parade collecting money for the general Shrewsbury carnival fund which will be distributed amongst the charities taking part in the carnival.  We look forward to attending next year.
