Summing up 2013 and looking towards 2014, Happy New year all.
As 2013 comes to an end CSIbasics would like to thank all its supporters, from the generous people who donate through our tins, those who use our online shop, support our members by sponsoring our activities, attend our CPD events to those who respond for us, teach and lecture or support the charity in the background and not forgetting the companies, industries and emergency service colleagues a BIG thank you – we wouldn’t be where we are without you all!
2013 has been an important year for us, we’ve continued to provide responders within Cheshire supporting North West Ambulance Service. We hope to have more responders live in this area during 2014. Shropshire is so very close to getting their first 2 medics up and running responding for West Midlands Ambulance Service. Following blue light fits early in the New Year we will be providing a 2 BASICS doctors on a voluntary basis for WMAS to respond to emergences within Shropshire.
2014 will be a busy year for CSIbasics as we plan on continuing our education program with CPD events and courses. We will still be fundraising to keep our current medics responding with a view to providing more responders. Remember we receive no financial assistance from the government, we are fully funded by donations from the public. At a cost of up to £15,000 to train and equip a responder every donation is greatly received. All our members time is given for free, so at this time of year would just like to say thanks to those family members for all your support.
See you all in 2014, to any colleagues working over the New Year stay safe and thank you.
