Following a significant collision one of our doctors transport a patient in Cheshire Police Helicopter to a Major Trauma Centre.
CSIbasics were responded by the ambulance service along with police and fire services to reports of a car vr. HGV. On arrival our doctor found a small car had been involved in a significant collision, working along side ambulance, HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) paramedics and fire brigade all patients were released and treated.
Due to the pelvic and head injures sustained to one of the patents the decision to fly them to a Major Trauma centre was made but due to the light level unfortunately the North West Air Ambulance could not be utilised. Cheshire Police offered the use of there helicopter that is able to fly during hours of darkness. Our doctor transported the patent to a Major Trauma Centre.
