Thanks to a £5,000 grant from Cheshire Community Foundation we can equip 4 of our responders in the area with the latest personal protective gear.
As you can imagine working at the road side, exposed on a hill, in a tight spot under some machinery, in a shop or someone house we need our medical suits and protective equipment to perform in all weathers from -10 to +30 either at night or day that is a big ask. But thanks to Cheshire Community Foundation we can purchase the best equipment made by Lojigma that not only is proven but complies with the various EU regulations.
In addition to the suites the grant will allow the purchase of safety helmets and pagers. Without the specialist digital secure pagers our medics could not be alerted to any possible jobs, but at £500.00 each they take some fund-raising to purchase.
